Feelings of fatigue, depression, stress and irritability are all symptoms we go through at different stages of our lives.

Imagine being in that state all the time. People close to me are in that state and I find it disturbing that they weren't offered alternative suggestions. In both case the doctors went straight for tablets that made them both worse with symptoms of shaking, skin rash and sleep deprivation.

Taking tablets may be exactly what is required for depression, but other options also need to be explored. Exercise is something that I am sure most doctors will now recommend,  but checking for Vitamin B levels should be a compulsory check.

Vitamin B is like the happy vitamin and your body may be lacking in it. A simple blood test will let you know, so why not try?

If you or someone you know suffer from stress, fatigue, exhaustion (sleep all night and still feel tired), nervousness, tension or run down a dose of vitamin B may be helpful.

For someone lacking in Vitamin B the tablets won't be enough you may need a series of injections. Talk to your doctor.

If you think you or someone you know could be lacking in Vitamin B ask your doctor to organise a blood test. It may be the best thing you ever do!

This is not medical advice. It's just a heads up of something that may be worth testing for anyone suffering from depression. Good luck x
